Shimla, Jun 11 (UNI) Light showers lashed isolated places in Himachal Pradesh during the last 24 hrs as the Western Disturbance continues to bring more rain in the state.
Mandi with 31.9 mm rain during the last 24 hrs was the wettest place in the state followed by 24.6 mm at Dharamshala, 7.2 mm at Sundernagar, 6.7 mm at Bhuntar and 1.6 mm at Nahan in Sirmaur district, the met office told UNI here.
Meanwhile, Shimla town recorded a day temperature of 22.2 degrees, Sundernagar 33.1, Bhuntar 33.7, Kalpa 24.4 and Dharamshala 28.2 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature at Una town rose to 25 degrees as compared to 19.6 degrees recorded yesterday, while Shimla town recorded a minimum of 15.9, Sundernagar 20.5, Bhuntar 19.4 and Kalpa 12.2 degrees.
The met office said Dharamshala was relatively warm during the night at 18.1, while Nahan and Mandi were comparatively hot at 23.9 and 21.6 degrees.
Keylong, the district headquarter of Lahaul Spiti was also hot at 16.6, while Solan recorded a minimum temperature of 19.6 degrees.
The met office has forecast rain or thundershowers at a few places in the state during the next 24 hrs.
