Nepal Supreme Court rejects writ challenging King moving into Nagarjuna Palace
Kathmandu, June 11 : The Supreme Court of Nepal has rejected a writ challenging the decision of the council of ministers to provide Nagarjuna Palace and security to former king Gyanendra.
According to Nepalnews, the court refused to register the writ by advocate Bhupendra Pokhrel saying that this is a political issue and as the decision has not infringed the fundamental rights of the petitioner, there is no need to accept the petition.
Pokhrel challenged the government decision to allow the former King to move Nagarjuna Palace.
