Dog gorges infant's body due to family's laxity
Barwani, MP, Jun 11 (UNI) The family was found to be responsible in an incident in which a dog had mauled the body of their infant on the premises of government hospital at Sendhwa in this district of Madhya Pradesh, official sources said today.
Sub Additional Officer (Revenue) Vishnu Kamalkar today said from the report submitted by the tahsildar it was apparent that Solwan village-resident tribal Sindhubai gave birth to a stillborn baby girl on June 5.
The hospital management handed over the body to the concerned parents and the woman's father-in-law and two other family members buried the body near the hospital's postmortem room.
''The earth was not dug deeply hence the canine animal ate the body due to the laxity of the woman's family,'' he added.
