London, Jun 10 : Welsh actor Rhys Ifans has employed a new way to get over his split from English actress Sienna Miller - singing.
Ifans was devastated when he came to know that 26-year-old Miller had started seeing her 33-year-old ex-flame Matthew Rhys.
But the 39-year-old actor is now determined to get over the break up and move forward by launching his music career.
The actor, who had previously fronted for indie group Super Furry Animals in the 1990s, will be performing with new band The Peth at the Green Man Festival in Brecon, South Wales, in August.
"Rhys desperately needs something to take his mind off Sienna. Singing to thousands of fans could be exactly what he needs," The Sun quoted a source as saying.
Ifans has revealed that he likes to sing and play the guitar a bit and is into rock music.
"It's wild rock music and I do the singing. I play a bit of guitar but I'm not very good," he said.
