Panchkula, Jun 10 (UNI) The Haryana police today dismissed the two absconding police accused of rape and harrassment of one Sarita, who committed suicide yesterday inside the headquarters of Haryana Director General of Police here, alleging ''police inaction.'' Admitting that the police system had erred in the matter and was ''deeply hurt by yesterday's incident'', Haryana DGP Ranjiv Dalal today told reporters here that the accused CIA Staff, Rohtak head constable Balraj and constable Silak Raj have been booked under section 376 B in Rohtak and under section 305 in Panchkula and in view of the gravity of these charges they have been dismissed from service.

ADGP (Crime) Sharad Kumar, has been entrusted with the task of finding out those responsible for the laxity in the matter and asked to submit his report within two days, Mr Dalal said adding that the role of DSP, Rohtak and Investigation Officer would also be under scrutiny because had the officials taken prompt action, Sarita perhaps would not have taken the extreme step.

Four police parties have been dispatched to Rajasthan, Sonipat and the native villages of the absconding accused to nab them, he said.

The DGP said the deceased Sarita's husband and two daughters would be provided adequate security and all possible financial help would be extended to them from the Police Welfare Fund.

He admitted that the letters by the deceased and her medical reports left no doubt that her allegations of rape against the police were true.
