New Delhi, Jun 10 (UNI) Tirupati, a pilgrim centre, and Rajahmundry, a business centre, in Andhra Pradesh will be brought on the air route network of Jet Airways from June 15.
The two flights will provide convenient connections to the incoming flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai at Hyderabad, Jet CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said in a statement today.
Passengers arriving from Tirupati and Rajahmundry at Hyderabad will also be able to reach the four metropolises same day.
The flights will be operated by the most modern pressurised and air conditioned 62 seater French made turbo-prop ATR 72-500 aircraft.
''It is our effort to increase regional connectivity with our new ATR aircraft to meet the passenger demand,'' Mr Prock-Schauer said.
With a view to meeting the increasing demand on domestic sectors, Jet Airways will also introduce two flights linking Hyderabad with Chennai, one in the morning and the other in the evening.
Flight 9W 3555 will leave Hyderabad at 1450 hrs and arrive in Tirupati at 1610 hrs.
The return flight 9W 3556 (Tirupati-Hyderabad) will depart from Tirupati at 1640 hrs and arrive in Hyderabad at 1800 hrs.
Flight 9W 3553 will leave Hyderabad at 1030 hrs and arrive in Rajahmundry at 1145 hrs.
The return flight 9W 3554 will depart from Rajahmundry at 1215 hrs and arrive in Hyderabad at 1330 hrs.
In the morning, flight 9W 3551 (Hyderabad-Chennai) will leave Hyderabad at 0625 hrs and arrive in Chennai at 0755 hrs.
The return flight 9W 3552 (Chennai-Hyderabad) will depart from Chennai at 0825 hrs and arrive at Hyderabad at 0955 hrs.
In the evening, flight 9W 3557 will depart from Hyderabad at 1840 hrs and arrive in Chennai at 2015 hrs.
The return flight 9W 3558 will depart Chennai at 2045 hrs and arrive in Hyderabad at 2220 hrs.
These new flights provide convenience of same day return between Chennai and Hyderabad for Business travellers.
