{image-gujjar protest_10062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Bayana, June 10: The chances of a possible breakthrough in the Gujjar-Rajasthan government deadlock over the former"s demand for ST status seems to have ebbed after the community leader Kirori Singh Bainsla on Tuesday declared that no talks would take place unless the arrested women activists were released and murder charges were withdrawn against 20 protestors.

Bainsla, who had termed the first round of parleys on Monday as a "good beginning", has made the two demands a pre-condition for the talks which were to be held in Jaipur, a senior state government official informed sources. He said that the written commitment given by 70-year-old Bainsla in Bayana on Monday about holding of the next round of talks has been retracted.

"However we are making all efforts from our side" to revive the dialogue process, the official said on phone from Bayana

Meanwhile, Bhim Singh Bika, the SHO of the Bayana police station, has registered a case against Kirori Singh Bainsla under Articles 121A, 124A, 147, 148 and 149, charging him of sedition.
