Aarushi murder case: CBI teams arrives at Talwar's residence
Noida, Jun 9 (UNI) Five teams of the Central Bureau of Investigation reached at the residence of Dr Talwar at Sector 25 here tonight for further investigation in the May 16 Aarushi murder case.
According to the official sources, the five CBI teams, under Joint Director Arun Kumar reached at the Dr Talwar's residence in a bid to recover the weapon used in murder and Hemraj's mobile phone. The teams have also brought Krishna, compounder of Dr Talwar's clinic.
The CBI, which took over investigations in the sensational Noida double murder case on June 1, put Krishna to lie detection test at its headquarters and probing ageny would raid some more places.
Sources have claimed that the CBI had gathered vital clues in the murders of Aarushi, 14, and Hemraj, the Talwar's domestic help.
Aarushi's body was found in her apartment on May 16 and the police had immediately suspected Hemraj as the prime suspect.
They were, however, proved wrong when Hemraj's body was found on the terrace of the building the following day.
Police had later taken Dr Rajesh Talwar, a well known dentist, into custody, alleging that he killed his daughter Aarushi.
Dr Talwar's wife Nupur, who is also a dentist, has defended her husband, saying he was innocent and both of them discovered Aarushi's body together.
