Hyderabad, Jun 9 (UNI) As part of its domestic expansion plans, Jet Airways today announced the launch of daily flights from Hyderabad to Tirupati and Rajahmundry.
These new flights would be operated by the most modern pressurised and air conditioned 62-seater French made turbo-prop 'ATR 72-500' aircraft, a release said here.
The two flights would provide convenient connections to incoming flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai at Hyderabad.
Passengers arriving from Tirupati and Rajahmundry at Hyderabad would also be able to reach the metro cities the same day.
To meet the increasing demand on domestic sectors, Jet Airways would also introduce two new flights linking Hyderabad with Chennai, one in the morning and the other in the evening.
The flight '9W 3555' (Hyderabad-Tirupati) would leave Hyderabad at 1450 hrs and arrive at Tirupati at 1610 hrs. The return flight '9W 3556' (Tirupati-Hyderabad) would leave Tirupati at 1640 hrs and arrive at Hyderabad at 1800 hrs.
The flight '9W 3553' (Hyderabad-Rajahmundry) would leave Hyderabad at 1030 hrs and reach Rajahmundry at 1145 hrs. The return flight '9W 3554' (Rajahmundry-Hyderabad) would leave Rajahmundry at 1215 hrs and arrive at Hyderabad at 1330 hrs, the release added.
