This entrepreneurial kiddo always carries his deck of business cards with his other baby stuff when he goes out.
In fact, this latest trend that is quite prevalent in Australia is seeing a large number of parents investing in business cards for their children.
However, parenting experts have quashed this fad by calling it "preposterous", and think that it is a classic example of obsessive parenting.
In fact, Ethan's mother Nicole is hoping that the cards would certainly help her son build a strong friendship network. It's just been 4 weeks since the family moved to Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast, and it is all because of Ethan and his cards that the Jones' are already meeting new people.
"Ethan feels very important when he trots off to give someone his business card," The Daily Telegraph quoted Mrs Jones, as saying.
In fact, Ethan carries colourful polka dot designed cards, which are sold by Alison Piro on line at 50 dollars for 50. And parents all round the country are grabbing them as soon as possible.
Prof Matt Sanders, parenting expert from the University of Queensland, said kids should be kids.
"Giving children business cards is totally unnecessary. There is nothing they could possibly gain. It's just a silly gimmick," he said.
