By Staff

Mumbai, Jun 8 (UNI) Former national champion Manish Chotrani and his son Veer fashioned contrasting wins for a dream start in the Otters Open Squash Tournament that got underway at the Otters Club, Bandra here today.

As the juniors took centre stage on the opening day, Veer overcame fancied Aryan Parekh 9-6, 4-9, 9-7, 9-7 in an exciting boys' under-9 second round.

Veer endured a strong challenge from Parekh as he struggled to clinch a close opening game.
