Minister's son misbehaves with SHO
Chhatarpur, MP, June 8 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Minister of State (MoS) for Transport Ramlal Ahirwar's son Laxmi Ahirwar barged into the house of a State House Officer along with his friends and misbehaved with him last night at Maharajpur in this district, police said today.
Laxmi Ahirwar reached SHO Harinarayan Pandey's house when the power in his house went out and asked him to restore it. When Mr Pandey refused to do so, he dashed his vehicle into the main gate.
Other police vehicles were damaged and he abused and misbehaved with the SHO. The culprits later fled. Senior police officials were informed about the incident.
A case was registered against Laxmi Ahirwar, his friend Brajendra Chourasia and six others.
Superintendent of Police Sriniwas Tiwari said no arrests had been made thus far.
Mr Ramlal Ahirwar had been made MoS two days ago.
State Congress spokesperson Manak Agrawal alleged that state ministers had spread terror.
In a statement, he said within 24 hours of Mr Ramlal Ahirwar becoming minister, his son started spreading terror in his home town. He demanded the arrest of the accused and a high-level inquiry into the incident.
