LJP to field own candidates in Assy and LS polls in J'khand:Paswan
Dhanbad, Jun 8 (UNI) Union Fertiliser Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Ramvilas Paswan today said his party would field own candidates in all Parliament seats of Jharkhand.
Addresing a party rally here, Mr Paswan urged party workers to get ready for the polls and said the state would witnesss both Assembly and general polls simultaneously.
'' The party will soon finalise the name of candidates, '' Mr Paswan said.
Lambasting the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government in the state, Mr Paswan said developmental projects had come to halt in the state during the present regime.
Mr Paswan also accused the Koda-government of not cooperating in establishing the 12 MT steel plant by the Union government.
''We have recieved positive response by other states in this regard but Jharkhand lacked that warmth'', Mr Paswan said.
The state government was not ready to provide land for the plant, the Union Minister said.
