Jaipur, Jun 7 (UNI) BJP Spokesperson Prakash Javadekar today expressed hope that the talks between the Rajasthan Government and the agitating Gujjar leaders over the ST status demand, might begin here tomorrow.
Talking to reporters here today, Mr Javadekar who has been camping in Jaipur for past some days to facilitate ongoing efforts to deal with Gujjar stir, said "although the Rajasthan Government has so far got no reply from the Gujjar leaders, I am hopeful that they will come to Jaipur probably tomorrow to hold talks." When his attention was drawn to the Gujjar leaders' rejection of the government's suggestion to come to Jaipur to hold talks, the BJP leader said he had feelers that they might come.
He justified the state government's insistence for Jaipur as venue for talks and said the state Cabinet and entire bureaucracy were in the state capital to take any follow up action, if required.
