HIFA to honour ad-guru Prahlad Kakkar with 'Jasraj Samman'

Karnal, Jun 6: Advertising Guru Prahlad Kakkar will be honoured with 'Jasraj Samman' of Haryana Institute of Fine Arts. The award comprising Rs 1 lakh, citation and Angvastram would be given to the ad-man for lifetime achievement on June 9 at Indri by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.Announcing this here today, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) working president Kuldeep Sharma said the HIFA awards would be given to sons of soils of Haryana who had made outstanding contribution in various fields. He said HIFA's Karamyogi Samman, comprising Rs 31,000, citation and Angvastram, would be given to Amardeep Dahiya (Tourism), Baba Kashi Nath Almast (Folk Music), Balbir Singh Malik, IAS (Environment), Dr Suresh Gopal (Indian Classical Music), Mahavir Prashad (Handicrafts), Raj Singh Gehlot (Business) Raj Kishan Nain (Ancient Heritage), Roop Chand (Fine Arts) Sameer Gehlant (Young Achiever) Tarsem Garg (Education).

HIFA's Karambhoomi Samman comprising Rs 11,000, citation and Angvastram, would be bestowed upon Bhup Singh (Fine Arts) Daya Ram (Handicrafts) Ishwar Sharma (Folk Music), K B Pandit (Media) Naresh Malhotra (Indian Classical Music), Rajesh Purohit (Ancient Hertiage), S K Sharma (Magic), Sultan Singh (Agriculture) Sumer Sharma (Theatre) and Yash Pal Sharma (Film).
