Groundnut, palmolein, sunflower, soyabean oils rise

Mumbai, June 6 (UNI) Prices of spot groundnut raw, palmolein, sunflower refined, rapeseed expeller and soyaben oils today recovered smartly on reduced selling pressure by stockists, induced by good rainfall at producing centres, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange (BCE) said.

In oils (per ten Kg) groundnut rawa, sunflower refined, palmolein, rapessed, cottonseed refined and soyabean rose beween Rs five and Rs ten on heavy demand from bulk consumers and retailers and lesser ready stocks at the domestic markets.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnut kernel also looked up by Rs 25 to Rs 3550 in line with edible oils. But, kardiseed, castorseed Bombay and nigerseed varieties declined by Rs 25, Rs 20 and Rs 50 respectively on heavy selling pressure by stockists and better stocks.

In oilcakes (per tonnes), Soyameal, rice brand and groundnut extraction prices shot up by Rs 400, Rs 200 and Rs 200 respectively on fresh demand from shippers in view of strong global advice, traders added.
