Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 5 (UNI) The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Politburo will meet at Thimmapuram Village of Kakinada Rural Mandal, ten kms from here, on June 11 to discuss the outcome of byelections in Telangana and the party's future course of action.
Addressing the media here today, Senior Leader and Politburo Member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the forcible acquisition of fertile agricultural lands for the Kakinada SEZ and the coastal corridor in violation of the norms and the plight of those affected by the project was also likely to come up prominently for discussion.
The progress of the 'Mee Kosam' tour, which would complete 50 days on June nine, would also be reviewed.
Mr Ramakrishnudu said the crucial meeting of party incharges for 20 parliamentary constituencies would be held after the politburo meeting.
TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu will interact with party functionaries and leaders of East Godavari District on the occasion.
An action plan for the strengthening of the party would be drawn up.
Mr Ramakrishnudu said the 'Mee kosam' tour of Mr Naidu in East Godavari District was postponed to June eight.
