IBM announces expansion of Innovation Centre
Bangalore, Jun 5 (UNI) IBM today announced the expansion of an IBM Innovation Centre here for software developers, start-up companies, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), IT professionals and academics.
The centre would improve their IT skills create new software and hardware applications and services, and deliver them to the global marketplace, according to a company release here.
The centre would also provide technology, education and consulting support, as well as access to IBM sales and marketing experts.
It would help business partners to test their solutions for compatibility and scalability before introducing them into the market. Additionally, the centre would provide companies with access to on-site facilities for hands-on support from IBM.
It would be equipped with new labs and infrastructure for latest technologies, RFiD, pervasive and SOA, and to provide system support. Business partners would also be able to test, develop and demonstrate their Software as a Service Business Model.
