New Delhi, Jun 5 (UNI) Delhi Police have busted a forged visa racket in the capital and arrested four people with fake visas of different countries.
Nukul Kohli and Javed Khan were arrested from Defence Colony by a team of the Delhi police Special cell last evening when the former had come to deliver a consignment of forged visas and passports to the latter.
On being searched, four tampered passports along with two fake visas of Schengen were recovered from Nukul. Later, a search at the offices of Nukul in Gautam Nagar and Laxmi Nagar led to recovery of 35 passports, 19 fake visa stickers, four work permits and 39 fake job permits and arrest of two others - Naveen Malhotra and Prateek Sharma - involved in the racket.
On interrogation, the accused revealed that Nukul Kohli, the leader of the gang, was running the racket under the garb of a travel agency and duping people desiring to go abroad.
They supply fake visa to prospective customers, tampered with their passports and prepared forged supporting documents in exchange for hefty amount of money.
Nukul Kohli has previously been arrested for a similar offence.
