Hyderabad, June 5 (UNI) Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who is on the five-member Committee constituted by the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on the Telangana issue, today said it would meet ''very soon'' to elicit the views of partymen from Andhra Pradesh on the sensitive issue of statehood.
Talking to reporters here, he said all partymen would abide by the party's decision whenever it was taken.
Asked how long the party would take to decide on the statehood issue, he said, ''let us first meet and elicit the views of partymen.
'' The UPA Committee on Telangana, constituted under the chairmanship of External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee long back, has not yet come to any conclusion on the issue, he remarked.
He, However, refused to disclose his opinion on the issue.
Asked about the divergent views expressed by party leaders K Srihari and T Srinivasa Yadav on the issue, he said it was natural for party leaders to express their individual views on the issue.
