Autorickshawas to go off roads from tonight

Hyderabad, Jun 5 (UNI) Autorickshaws will go off the roads from midnight today demanding that the Government hike the minimum fares.

In a release here, Telangana Auto Drivers Joint Action Committee Convenor Mohd Amanullah Khan said the strike would be continue till the Government accepted their demand for increasing the minimum fare to Rs 17 and Rs nine per km.

Mr Khan, opposing the the steep hike of petrol and diesel prices, appealed to the auto drivers and different union representatives to participate in the strike.
