Chandigarh, Jun 4 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the work to construct the Rs 350 crore Badarpur flyover would start within a few months.
''The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has already received bids from agencies and Chairman of the NHAI has assured that a final decision regarding the bids would be taken by the end of this month,'' he said while presiding over a meeting with a delegation of the CII.
Mr Hooda expressed satisfaction that both agencies--Larsen and Toubro Limited (L&T) and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC)--which had shown interest in the project, were renowned.
therefore, the work would get completed before the commencement of the Common Wealth Games.
The Cabinet Secretary was also reviewing the progress of the project on periodic basis, he added.
The CII delegation, led by Chairman of its Northern region Salil Singhal, discussed various areas of collaboration for development of the state.
Mr Singhal appreciated the developmental strides made by Haryana in various fields of development and assured all help of the CII in the development of the state.
