Silver, Gold end weaker: BBA

Mumbai, Jun 4: Both the precious metals today ended on a weak note as Silver declined by Rs 85 to end at Rs 23,735 per kg and Gold was down by Rs 160 to close lower at Rs 12,155 per ten gm on discouraging global advice along with sluggish demand by jewellers, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said here today.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 23,735 (23,820) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,155 (12,315) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,215 (12,375)
