Shashi murder case: Ex-Minister to be cross-questioned again
Faizabad, June 4 (UNI) Police could again cross-question former Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Food Preservation Anand Sen Yadav in the sensational Shashi murder case here.
After studying the main accused Vijay Sen Yadav's, driver of the minister, narco and polygraph test reports, the minister could be cross-questioned again, Superintendent of Police Sharad Chand Pandey said.
He, however, refused to comment on the reports.
Another accused Seema Azad is still at large and police is making all possible efforts to nab the girl, besides attaching her property, he added.
He said a reward would be announced on her head, if police failed to trace the accused soon.
''Our team is investigating the matter ''impartially'' and any suspect can be cross-questioned for speedy and fair results,'' Mr Pandey underlined.
On October 23, Shashi's father Yogendra Prasad had lodged an FIR against against his daughter's friend and fellow student Seema Azad for introducing her to Vijay and Anand.
He had alleged the involvement of the former minister and his driver into Shashi's suspicious disappearance.
Later, police had interrogated Vijay, who left them miffed by changing his statements every time, following which police sought his narco test.
