Nandi film awards to be presented on June 7

Visakhapatnam, June 4 Andhra Pradesh Film and Television Development Corporation Managing Director C Parthasaradhy today said the Nandi Awards 2005-06 festival for film and television would be held at Ramakrishna Beach here on June 7.

Addressing a press conference, he said the awards would be presented to the best film, TV artistes, directors, music directors, writers and TV commentators. All the arrangements for the festival were completed. S Security had been tightened in and around the venue, he said.

Noted film director K Raghavendra Rao, playback singers S P Balasubramanyam, Sunita, Karunya and actors Ravi Kondala Rao, Ragini, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Sivajiraja and Jhansi would attend the function.
