Jeevan group launches IT academy
Chennai, Jun 4 (UNI) The city-based Jeevan group, an IT company, has launched a Jeevan IT Academy (JITA) with a vision to bridge the gap between fresh graduates and corporates.
Union Minister for IT and Communcation A Raja inaugurated the academy at a function here.
The academy aims at transforming talented graduates from knowledgeable individuals to "ready to deploy" professionals, which was the need of the global IT industry, Company Chairman Mr D Napoleon said.
The academy, supported by the industry, aims at a 360 degree training module, which would help the corporates to get the best employee at the entry level and for the students to get an opportunity to get emplyed at a corporate.
The training programme would involve software, technical, soft skills, software engineering and project management with value pack, he said.
