Youth drowns in Narmada river
Omkareshwar, MP, Jun 3 (UNI) In an attempt to rescue a child from drowning, a man drowned in the Narmada River at Poti Teerthghat at Omkareshwar town, police said today. Yashwant Choudhary, resident of Dharamraj Colony in Indore district's Aerodrome area, arrived here to offer his prayers with his family yesterday. While taking holy bath in the river, he saw Gaurav drowning but drowned himself in a rescue attempt.
The body was yet not recovered, police added.
