Hardline separatists protest alcohol sales
Srinagar, May 31: Hardliner Muslim separatists on Friday, May 30 launched a huge protest in Kashmir to force the closure of liquor shops across the Muslim majority region.
A large number of protesters led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani, leader of the breakaway faction of All Parties Hurriyat (Freedom) Conference, took to the street in Srinagar, serving an ultimatum to liquor vends to shut down.
