Randhawa 72nd in world golf rankings; Jeev rises to 90th

New Delhi, Jun 3 (UNI) Jyoti Randhawa continued to be the highest ranked Indian in the latest Official World Golf Rankings as he held on to the 72nd spot despite missing the cut at the Wales Open.

The only other Indian in the top 100 is Jeev Milkha Singh, who posted a tied 10th finish in the European Tour's Celtic Manor Wales Open last week climb one spot to 90th.

Orlando-based Arjun Atwal dropped three spots to 188th with 0.920 average points. Kolkata pro SSP Chowrasia (0.905 average points) and Delhi youngster Shiv Kapur (0.624 average points) fell to 191 and 270 respectively after missing the cut at Wales Open.

Tiger Woods continued to hold the top spot, 9.69 points average points ahead of second-placed American Phil Mickelson.
