Bangalore, Jun 3 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Napoklu 6; Chikodi, Sakleshpura, Honnali 5 each; Kundapur, Shimoga, Thondebhavi, Madhugiri 4 each; Kota, Yellapura, Jagalbet, Madikeri, Thirthahalli, Bandipura, Gowribidanur, Hosadurga, Pavgada, Y.N.Hoskote 3 each; Siddapura, Sirsi, Kiravatti, Manchikere, Siddapura, Virajpet, Linganamakki, Agumbe, Tarikere, Kollegal, Srinivasapura, Gubbi, Koratagere, Chikkanahalli 2 each.
Maximum temperatures fell at a few places and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37.5 degree celsius over the State.
