Murdered cop Nisha Patel's brother dismisses sex racket claims

London, June 3 : Murdered cop Nisha Patel's brother has dismissed claims that his sister was a vice madam.

He denied that Nisha was the real brain behind her husband Fadi Nasri's escort agency.

Last week, Nasri was convicted of hiring hitmen to have his wife killed so he could claim 350,000 pounds life insurance and run off with Lithuanian hooker lover Laura Mockiene.

However, then a former hooker Maria Brennan claimed that Nisha helped run the Seventh Heaven agency with Nasri, and even ferried call girls around.

Now, Katen Patel has defended his sister, saying she tried to make her husband clean up his business affairs.

Katen is shocked that her reputation is being muddied by the allegations.

"It's disgusting. It was her husband who ran an escort agency," The Daily Star quoted him, as saying.

"Fadi ad-mitted in court it was because she was unhappy with it that he closed it down.

"Now, on the say-so of a prostitute, outrageous stories are circulating that my sister lived a sleazy double life. But the sleaze-bag was not my sister - it was her husband who had her stabbed to death for her 350,000 pounds life insurance so he could go off with his prostitute mistress," he added.

Although, Katen accepted that his sister misused her position but blamed Nasri for it.

"I think she had a lapse of judgment because of Fadi's influence," he said.

"Fadi can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned, but it's justice, not revenge I'm after. Nothing will bring Nisha back now," he added.
