Investigation in KIMS shootout case intensified
Hubli, June 3 (UNI) An Investigation in the KIMS shootout case has been intensified after yesterday's arrest of KIMS former Director M G Hiremath and three local Congress leaders in this regard.
Police took two more persons for questioning in the case, in which KIMS Superintendent Shivanand Doddamani had received serious bullet injuries.
According to sources, sketches of hired shooters were prepared, after getting details from an assistant of a Congress leader, who had dealt with arms.
Meanwhile, addressing the media, Commissioner of police Narayan Nadamani denied reports that hired shooters were arrested by the police. ''We have the information that hired shooters were from Sholapur in Maharashtra and we will nab them soon,'' he added.
