Chhattisgarh Public Commission serves notice to CM
Raipur, Jun 3 (UNI) Taking cognisance of Congress's three separate corruption-related complaints, Chhattisgarh Public Commission has issued notices against 10 people, including Chief Minister Raman Singh and Minister of State for Public Works Department Rajesh Munat, official sources said today.
The notices were issued yesterday and all the 10 people were asked to reply within 10 days. State Congress Secretary Rajesh Bissa has submitted affidavit in three different cases.
Chief Secretary Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Additional Chief Secretary P Joy Ummen, Secretary Public Works Department M K Raut, then Managing Directyor CIDC S K Behar, Chief Executive Officer NRDA and Special Secretary Residence S S Bajaj, Special Secretary Public Public Works Department G S Solanki and Chief Engineer P S Kshatri were also served with the notice.
Without inviting tenders a contract was made with IL and FS company to prepare project report to set up several industrial parks, New Raipur Development Authority-related complaint and Public Constructions Department fast road development programme were the three complaints.
