Skoda sales for May jump a whopping 122 pc
New Delhi, Jun 2: Skoda India, a fully owned subsidiary of Skoda Auto said it has recorded 122.4 per cent increase in its sales to 1,802 units in May 2008 as compared to 810 units sold in the same month last year. The sales figure also include 753 units of the country's first super hatch Skoda Fabia.
Skoda India, part of the Volkswagen Group has 19 models in the country. It plans to launch its Roomster by end of 2008 and its new sedan Superb by early 2009. By 2010, it also plans to bring its sport utility vehicle Yeti to India.
