London, June 2 : A new study has revealed that most Brits are happy with their appearance.
The survey showed that 64 per cent of the public were satisfied with their size and shape, reports Scotsman.
Over 50 percent of respondents describe Britain as a chubby nation, but 5 per cent of those surveyed described the country's average shape as slim.
Although most of the people declared themselves happy with their bodies, only one in three people said that they would not change anything about the way they look.
The study also showed that the average British waistband has expanded to 36in for men and 34in for women.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, more than 20 per cent of males and 39 per cent of females said that they would change their stomach.
The survey showed that people in London are most content with their bodies, with 42 per cent most likely to not wish to change their features, as compared to 33 per cent in the total population.
Those most likely to be unhappy with their body shape are women.
