Air India flight delayed

Aluva, Jun 2 (UNI) An Air India flight was delayed for more than four hours at Kochi International Airport here when the main pilot of the flight reportedly hesitated to take off the flight as his luggage was found missing this afternoon.

The 'IC 909,' from Banglore to Kochi, was scheduled to fly to Kozhikode-Doha-Bahrain as 'IC 997' with changed crew at 1340 hrs.

The main captain of 'IC 997' was expected to arrive from Hyderabad by a Jetlite flight at 1325 hrs. However, the Jetlite flight reached here only at 1530 hrs.

The pilot, who found his luggage missing in the Jetlite flight, reportedly hesitated to operate the flight 'IC 997.' Hundreds of passengers suffered untold difficulties due to the indefinite delay of the flight.

Later, the pilot agreed to operate the flight. The flight left the airport at 1800 hrs, delayed by more than four hours.
