Afghan national deported to Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Jun 2: An Afghan national, who left for Colombo from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in the city on May 31, was deported to this city last evening for allegedly travelling on forged documents.

Police said Javed (18) was said to be travelling with a Mexican passport under the name of Garcia Lopez Rafael Valid.

He was caught by the immigration officials in Colombo while going to Paris.

A police inquiry revealed that Javed managed to secure an air ticket from a travel agency in Hyderabad and was proceeding to Paris via Hyderabad and Colombo. A mobile phone, US currency and valuables were seized from his possession.

He came to Delhi on March 26 and arrived in Hyderabad ten days ago.
