24 sacks of ganja seized in MP town
Bhopal, Jun 2 (UNI) A total of 24 sacks of ganja -- 684-kg in weight -- was seized from a tribal farmer's house and two people were arrested in this connection at this district's Jaisingh Nagar, police said today.
The ganja, which was buried under hay, was hunted from the deserted house of Badan Gopal Gaud in Dadaraudi village last evening. Babusingh Gaud and Dadanrag Gaud were held under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a jeep brought the sacks here from Andhra Pradesh through Janakpur road route, police added.
