Paswan on 3-day visit to J

Srinagar, Jun 1 (UNI) Union minister for Chemicals, Fertilizer and Steel Ram Vilas Paswan is arriving here tomorrow on a three-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to vice president of the Lok Jan Shakti (LJS) Sanjay Saraf, Mr Paswan will address a public meeting at Sher-e-Kashmir park here tomorrow.

He will also announce setting up of a Rs 208 crore steel project at Lasipora, Pulwama, in south Kashmir in which thousands of unemployed youths would get employment, Mr. Saraf said.

Meanwhile, the traffic authorities had imposed restriction on traffic movement around the venue of the public meeting.

Superintendent of Police, Traffic, said in connection with a rally being organised by Lok Jan Shakti Party in Sher-i-Kashmir Park tomorrow, traffic movement from Radio Kashmir crossing to Poloview on Residency road shall remain restricted from 1030 hrs till conclusion of the function.
