Minister denies engineering paper leakage
Chandigarh, Jun 1 (UNI) Haryana Technical Education Minister AC Chaudhary today said rumours about question paper leakage of the engineering diploma entrance examination conducted today were ''false and baseless''.
''Not even a single question of the so called leaked paper matched with the original question paper,'' he said.
''In Haryana there is such a foolproof system that provides no scope of paper leakage,'' the Minister claimed.
He said 1.23 lakh examinees appeared in today's entrance examination. Barring one case of UMC at Panchkula, the examination was conducted peacefully.
The Minister said the state government had increased the seats in technical education from 9,700 to 25,052 which would be further increased to 50,000 by next year.
''This was done keeping in view the expansion of the Multi National Companies (MNC) which will require more number of technical manpower,'' he added.
