Man found dead in lodge room

Puducherry, June 1 (UNI) A decomposed body of a man, who had allegedly committed suicide, was found in a room of a lodge here today.

Police said employees of the lodge informed the police after foul smell eminated from the room.

Police broke open the door and found the body on the bed.

A bottle containing poison and a soft drink bottle were also found.

The body was sent to the Government General Hospital for post-mortem.

The man had given his name as Selvaraj (55), hailing from Thanjavur, in the register of the lodge.
