HP State Judo Association formed

Shimla, Jun 1 (UNI) A 20-member Himachal Pradesh State Judo Association was today unanimously elected with Anurag Thakur, as its president.

The decision to name Mr Thakur, who was recently elected to Lok Sabha, as the association's president was taken at a meeting here in which office bearers from Shimla, Kinnuar, Solan, Sirmaur, Una, Mandi, Kullu, Hamirpur, Kangra and Bilaspur took part.

The association would have two vice presidents, a general secretary, three joint secretaries, a technical and a press secretary along with 11 members.

The association has also named Kuldeep Sharma as technical chairman.
