CBI takes-up Noida double murder case

Noida, Jun 1: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) takes up Aarushi murder case. CBI has registered case against Dr Rajesh Talwar and other unknown persons. A 25 member CBI team is set to visit Talwar residence today. The team is led by Joint Director Arun Kumar.

14 year old Aarushi, along with her servant Hemraj, was murdered on May 15. Aarushi's father, Dr Rajesh Talwar was arrested on May 16 after being questioned by the Noida police. He made many contradictory statements to police during his questioning. Dr Talwar at present is under judicial custody till June 6

Aarushi, a class IX student of Delhi Public School in Noida, was found in her bedroom with her throat slit on May 14. A day later, Hemraj, the Nepali help of the Talwar household, who was initially named as prime suspect by Noida Police, was found dead on the terrace. His throat was also slit in a similar manner.
