Acharya offers his minister post to dissident group in K'taka
Udupi, Jun 1 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Dr V S Acharya, who had sworn in as Cabinet Minister in the new BJP government in Karnataka, today said in case of any crisis in the government over the allocation of ministerial post to disgruntled groups in the party, he was ready to relinquish his minister post to others and ready to work with any responsibility given to him by the party.
Replying to the felicitation given to him by Sri Sugunendra Thritha Swamiji of Paryaya Puttige Mutt on behalf of the Paryaya reception committee here, he said ''I am not an aspirant for any particular ministry. I only prefer that the new BJP government should work for the development of the state by implementing all the promises made in the manifesto.'' He said the new government would work with commitment and give special stress on health and education, he added.
