Collision kills 6 in Kanpur

Kanpur May 31 (UNI) At least six people, including five of a family, were killed and three others severely injured when their car collided head-on with a truck in Mandhana area on the busy GT road here today.

According to police, eight members of a family were on the way to Kanpur, when the accident occurred.

While six people died on the spot, others were rushed to LLR hospital in a life threatening condition.

Those killed had been identified as Ramshankar,Ramnarain, Umesh, Rekha, Mohanlal and Parvati.

However, the car driver remained unidentified.
