Washington, May 30 : Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood has compared Angelina Jolie to movie icons Katharine Hepburn and Ingrid Bergman.
The award-winning helmer has directed Jolie in 'The Changeling', and insists she is a lot like the actresses of the 1940s.
"She's wonderful. To me, she's like a throwback to the women in film of the Forties. Not to say women today aren't great, but back then there was more individuality," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
"They didn't have the same Botox look. Angelina has that great individuality, her own look and her own style.
"I think she would have been just as big a name in that era, the same as Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis and Ingrid Bergman."
'The Changeling' recently premiered at the Cannes film festival and Jolie's performance had already had Oscar buzz starting up.
