New York, May 30 : Martial arts champ Chuck Norris has dropped his lawsuit against a university student who published allegedly detrimental remarks about the star in a comedic book.
The action film star filed the suit in U.S. District Court in Manhattan against undergraduate student Ian Spector and publisher Penguin Group Inc. last year (Dec07), after Spector published a book that spoofed Norris' hard-as-nails image.
Norris, 68, accused the Brown University student of trading on his good name when he turned a gimmick that began on the Web into a book titled "The Truth About Chuck Norris: 400 Facts About the World's Greatest Human."
One of the "facts" in Spector's book was, "Chuck Norris can impregnate women with only a glance. He can also do this to men."
But now Norris has changed his mind on Spector's musings, reports the New York Daily News.
