Air Marshal Ramasundara emphasises for cost effective maintenance
Bangalore, May 30 (UNI) Air Marshal K M Ramasundara, Air Officer-in-charge Maintenance, Indian Air Force, today emphasised the need for cost effective maintenance of Aircraft, radars, weapons and communication systems.
Speaking after an impressive Graduation Parade of the 70th Aeronautical Engineers course held at Air Force Technical College (AFTO) at Jalahalli, he stressed the need to imbibe economic discipline in maintenance policy.
Air Marshal Ramasundara called upon the young officers to strive for professional excellence and always uphold the IAF code of the Air Warrior.
The graduation parade marked the culmination of 18 month training in aeronautical engineering, military leadership management skills and code of an Air Warrior. The course consisted of 80 officers, including 14 women officers.
The Air Marshal awarded trophies and medallions to the officers who excelled in the course. The prestigious 'President's Plaque' for the Best All Round Officer was bagged by Flying Officer Anmol rattan, while Flying Officer Syed Sameeuddin was awarded the 'Vice President's Sword' for the Best Air Warrior in the Course.
