Mumbai, May 29 (UNI) Shane Warne Rajasthan Royals captain today said the semifinal against Delhi Daredevils tomorrow could be anybody's game, but the good thing is we have form on our side.
Speaking to reporters at the team hotel on match eve, Warne said that they were aware of the dangers Delhi Daredevils pose, but the advantage lies with us because all our players are in form.
Warne playing the mind games to perfection said in his team everybody has contributed whether it be Ravindra Jadeja at No six, Munaf Patel, Swapnil Asnodkar, Sohail Tanvir, Yusuf Pathan, Graeme Smith at the top, we have eleven match winners, while Delhi has got only two to three match winners.
Speaking about the defeat by Mohali, Warne said we got lot of positives out of last night's loss. ''We wanted to try out a couple of batsmen in different positions. We obviously wanted to win, but most important was to find a couple of answers to some questions we were not sure about leading up to semifinals and I am glad we could do that last night.'' Warne, however felt that the top two teams in the tourney should have had a home semifinal. ''A semifinal in Jaipur would have been an important advantage for us as most sides play better at home,'' the former Australian added.
''This is something IPL could need to have a look at next season.'' Speaking about the players, Warne said for him Sohail Tanvir has been the bowler of the tournament, and Shane Watson probably player of the tournament.
When asked about the secret of success he has managed with such a young side, Warne said all were treated as equals and we tried to get the best out of each individuals. We did not concentrate on one player but worked on each player equally and therefore we have been successful, he added.
