Pakistan frees 96 Indian prisoners
Karachi, May 24 , 2008: Pakistan released 96 Indian prisoners all of them fishermen, on Friday (May 23) two days after both countries inked agreement on counselor access to prisoners.
The Indian fishermen were freed from a prison in the southern city of Karachi and will be handed over to the Indian authorities at the Wagah border near the eastern city of Lahore on Saturda.
